Science and Horticultural Program
Students learn to be curious and to use scientific knowledge and processes to find answers to questions about themselves and the world around them. Science focuses on building ideas and understandings about nature, matter, energy, forces, and the Earth.
Students participate in activities in the garden, which provides a variety of avenues for sensory stimulation as well as developing independence and work skills. Produce includes vegetables, flowers and herbs which are used in student programs.
